Today Emily, Nicole and I finished up the Valentine's that were going to Emily's class, they were started in this post here's how the whole thing came out :) i like how the layering really makes her artwork pop :)

Emily and I continued to work on our Valentine project but I ran out of glue stick, I really don't understand how since I feel like I buy those every other week.

Nicole's homework was to show where she is today and map out the next 50 years of her life, this is what she came up with :)

Today everyone was much better in the house and Emily and I had some Play-Doh fun:)

A rut or sticking with what you like?

Emily has decided that she likes to color on these wooden pieces

She has now selected to do this 3 times in a row. Tonight I am going to take these away as a choice, I don't want to get stuck in a rut.

She has been doing SO well at school, the reports have been so good. I really hope this upswing continues. She's also making great strides towards making her own sandwich. Just so proud of her.

She loves to paint!

Today we painted these plaster magnets and we had a lot of fun

Em loves to paint and she went right to it, she's gotten very good at dipping her brush in without making a total mess

Still a full contact sport!

This was a great project, Em was SO into it and did a great job :)

Tuesday there was no school

We had no school on Tuesday so Emily crafted with Steph, when I was done with work she was all crafted out :( Emily and Steph made snowflakes and they did some coloring.

On Wednesday we did sun catchers :)

She decided that she was done at this point and started to color on herself

Steph stayed late and helped us and we also did some (or a lot) of paper snowflakes :)

I'm SO thankful for Steph, she's a blessing to our family.
